On behalf of the Slay Cancer Team, we would like to thank YOU for your contribution of time and energy toward making the #SlayCancerSipShopNFete a smashing success!! Humble thanks to our gracious sponsors and in-kind donors, those that attended and supported via social media, and even our ‘SlayCancer Carnivalists’. Despite the torrential downpour, we danced, took flicks, shared personal stories of how cancer has affected us, immersed ourselves in the Caribbean culture but most importantly, we all learned facts about breast cancer in the young, black community AND raised money for the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute in St. Thomas that was completely devastated by Hurricane Irma. Let’s face it, there is a negative stigma around breast cancer and it can be quite frightening, but this is why the #SlayCancerFete was needed! It is important to know that an early-stage diagnosis can determine survival rates, so preventative healthcare and screening for tissue abnormalities and lumps is KEY!; Educating the young African- American Caribbean  population about the potential dangers of breast cancer, will inspire new generations to take a proactive stance in their health through advocating and Remember, YOU are ALL Cancer Slayers in your own right!!!!!

STAY TUNED FOR PICS CANCER SLAYERS!!!!
