Today is #GivingTuesday- a day where people are encouraged to give. In the season of Thanksgiving, I am asking you to join me as I commit to a world WITHOUT cancer. Although this has been the most difficult year of  my life, Ive come to the harsh realization that there are millions of women and men who are going thru or have gone thru way worse than me- Cancer has not only stolen physical aspects of their lives but has also robbed them of hope. Hope for a cure and hope for a future. I created the #SLAYCancer brand to become a source of hope for cancer patients, survivors and supporters ESPECIALLY for young black women like myself. Using pop culture, fashion and music to spark the difficult but needed convos about the importance of proactive health care and the benefits of early detection is the lane I’ve created to help #SLAYCancer.

I’m asking you to help me to empower both women and men to live healthier lives in order to prevent breast cancer from even occurring.  I’m excited for  the BIG things God has in store for 2017 and I’d love your support to develop these ideas and in turn help young people affected my cancer.
